Steve Wynn, chairman and CEO of Wynn Resorts Limited, has been named the 2017 Cornell Icon of the Industry, and John Zimmer '06, co-founder and president of Lyft, has been named the 2017 Cornell Hospitality Innovator.

Lynn Perry Wooten, senior associate dean for academic and student excellence at the University of Michigan, has been named the David J. Nolan Dean of the Charles H. Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management.
Wooten will begin her appointment on July 1. She succeeds Edward McLaughlin, the Robert G. Tobin Professor of Marketing, who has served as interim dean of the Dyson School since June 21, 2016. Read more »

Congratulations to the Cornell team for winning this year's IHIF Student Case Competition, held on March 6, during the 20th annual International Hotel Investment Forum in Berlin.
This year's teams were required to conduct a financial analysis of a complex, realistic but fictitious hotel deal on an upscale property in downtown Amsterdam. Read more »
