 | Statler wins AAA honor, receives new uniform systems, and launches F&B events There
is much to celebrate at the Statler Hotel this winter. In January, the
Statler received its second consecutive AAA Four Diamond Award and
installed new state-of-the-art uniform tracking and delivery systems
thanks to generous donations from White Conveyors and InvoTech Systems.

event, Zahn will help honor the Tisch family as the 2012 recipients of

the International Hotel Investment Forum kicks off on Monday in Berlin,
Steve Carvell, associate dean for academic affairs, and other SHA staff

Lausanne Reception at IHIF/ITB will be held March 6, and the Cornell
Hotel Society German chapter will host the CHS ITB 2012 Breakfast on March

 | Student teams prepare for last stage of business plan competition The
second annual Cornell Hospitality Business Plan Competition is just
around the corner, and ten semifinal teams are working hard to put the
finishing touches on their business plans. The semifinalists were
selected from 31 original teams. The cohort will be narrowed down to
three to five final teams that will compete for a $15,000 first place

The

second Cornell Hospitality Research Summit (CHRS), which is scheduled

hotels, has joined the strategic corporate alliance program at SHA.
