The Pillsbury Institute offers a broad range of channels for alumni and industry leaders to engage with students through. One popular area is through the entrepreneurship courses by either sitting in on courses or being a guest speaker...see more.

Sweet Street's Sandy Solmon to receive Cornell Hospitality Innovator Award
Sandy Solmon, founder, president, and CEO of Sweet Street Desserts, has been named the recipient of the 2014 Cornell Hospitality Innovator Award, an honor given annually by the Pillsbury Institute. Solmon will receive the award at the sixth annual Cornell Hospitality Icon & Innovator Awards, Tuesday, June 3, 2014, at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City...see more.


Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans with Disabilities

Entrepreneurs In Residence
Every academic year, the Pillsbury Institute hosts several successful entrepreneurs who teach classes and provide personal direction to students to help them learn to conceive, launch and manage their own businesses. Entrepreneurs visit campus at least twice a semester and hold office hours in the Institute which enables students to extend their learning through the ongoing personal interactions and guidance they receive...see more.

Cornell Hospitality Research Summit
“The Future of Service Innovation: The New Science of People, Organizations, Data, and Technology”. The 3rd Cornell Hospitality Research Summit (CHRS) promises to be something new. The School of Hotel Administration invites representatives of industry and academe to the CHRS, in Ithaca, New York, October 12-14, 2014 for open discussions, interactive presentation and the sharing of research on the future of service innovation.
