Titan Families of Real Estate
The Center for Real Estate and Finance and Baker Program in Real Estate host the Third Annual Titans of Real Estate panel discussion on Friday, April 20, 2018 in New York City. Real Estate Students visit Tokyo, Japan
The Center for Real Estate and Finance and the Cornell Real Estate Club will be hosting real estate students to a student trek in Tokyo, Japan this April during spring break. Real estate students will participate in a site visit tour of new construction and upcoming real estate projects in and around Tokyo.  Read more
Taking third at the Cornell International Real Estate Case Competition by Christie Choy ’18
The Cornell International Real Estate Case Competition is an annual event that gathers undergraduate students from universities across North America, Europe, Asia Pacific, and Australia to analyze a real-world commercial real estate transaction and present a recommended investment strategy to a panel of judges who are leading real estate executives in the industry. Cornell Real Estate Case Competition Goes Global
Over the past 9 years, the Cornell International Real Estate Case Competition has grown from hosting 6 teams in its humble beginning to nearly 30 teams this past year. The invitation-only competition, hosted by the Center for Real Estate and Finance, is held annually in November. The event welcomes student teams from around the globe to New York City to compete for the top prize of $10,000. In the past two years, the competition has expanded to include regional events in international locations. Read more
International Council of Shopping Center Teams up with CREF
We are pleased to announce the Third Annual Cornell ICSC International Retail Real Estate Competition on May 20-21, 2018, hosted jointly by the Center for Real Estate and Finance and International Council of Shopping Centers. The case competition, held annually, will take place during RECon, the world’s largest retail real estate convention. Read more

Online Real Estate Certificates Expand through eCornell
Cornell University offers two online real estate certificates available through eCornell:  Hotel Real Estate certificate to learn essential financial and operational aspects of hotel asset and real estate investment management and the Commercial Real Estate certificate, to acquire a robust overview of the development process, project planning and management, investment and financing decisions, property valuation, property management and the cycle of tenancy, and real estate asset management.
