CIHLER sends students to arbitration
With the support of CIHLER, students from Cornell’s SHA and ILR schools went to New York City during the spring semester to observe an arbitrator hearing an actual case. An understanding of arbitration is important for students, since the process has become increasingly important in resolving disputes between labor and management.

The Cornell Institute for Hospitality Labor and Employment Relations was established in 2013 as a platform for students, employers, employees, unions, and their advocates involved in the hospitality industry.
