Studies Document Expanding Labor Regulations for Employers and Analyze Current Union Organizing Processes
Hospitality employers should be aware of the gradual expansion of the provisions of the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA), according to a new report issued by the Cornell Institute for Hospitality Labor and Employment Relations (CIHLER), written by Paul Salvatore (pictured left), with David Sherwyn and Adam Klausner. Richard W. Hurd has been named associate director of the Cornell Institute for Hospitality Labor and Employment Relations (CIHLER) at the Cornell School of Hotel Administration. Hotel execs, union leaders to seek solutions together

executives, labor and union leaders, and Cornell faculty came together
to discuss the future of labor relations in the industry Nov. 11 in New
York City.
